One evening as I sat down to dine,
Thru the picture window I saw a pine,
It was so green this wintery day,
I knew spring could not be far away,
They line the property around my home,
The area of which I like to roam,
I love to hunt for big pine cones,
They fall on the property someone owns,
Some are used for decoration,
But you can make your own creation,
A cozy fire they do make,
Warm and comfy I do not shake.
